Immediate Implant + Provisional – Anterior Case by Dr. Elben Lim
A 45‑year‑old male patient presented with a broken anterior bridge and fractured abutment teeth from tooth #13 to #23. A temporary fibre-reinforced resin-bonded bridge was fabricated utilizing teeth #14 and #24 as abutments. Concurrently, a temporary bone anchor was placed at the #11 region to stabilize a provisional PMMA bridge during the healing phase.
x2 TSIII implants (4.0 x 10mm) were placed using the Osstem OneGuide Kit. An insertion torque of approximately 35 Ncm was achieved, confirming adequate primary stability. The immediate implant jumping gap was grafted with 1.0cc of SureOss bone chips.
At the four-month postoperative review, both implants demonstrated ISQ of 70, indicating excellent osseointegration. The final restoration was completed with customized titanium abutments and a cement‑retained zirconia bridge. The patient walked out with his smile fully restored.
