We are facing a global mental health crisis—one that begins in childhood and leaves lasting scars. In America alone, one in five children will experience a serious mental illness before they grow up: anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, even suicidal thoughts. This is not just a statistic—it’s a warning. A child’s breakdown is not inevitable. It’s preventable. But only if we act now.

Parent Testimony: Ms. Bibi

“My child has shown such beautiful progress. He listens to instructions better, communicates more clearly, and is now able to mix around confidently with the people in his surroundings."

The Signposts program has been extremely helpful for me as a parent. It guided me on what kind of support my child truly needs, and how I can offer it in the right way.

I will definitely encourage other parents to join because this program is truly valuable. The more people who attend Signposts, the better it is for Neurodiverse kids. When more families and community members understand how to interact with them, our children don’t feel isolated.

This program helps create a kinder, more understanding environment. One where neurodiverse children are included, supported, and understood.”

Reparenting is the practice of offering yourself the love, care, and patience you once needed. 🌱
It’s learning to listen to your emotions with compassion, to speak kindly to yourself, and to create the safety your younger self longed for.

Each time you pause, comfort, or forgive yourself — you’re reparenting.
You’re showing your inner child that they are safe, seen, and loved. 💖

✨ What’s one thing your inner child needs to hear from you today?

Sometimes speech therapy doesn’t look like what we expect.
There are no worksheets, no drilling, no “repeat after me.”

Instead, you might see toys, pretend play, movement, laughter.

But play isn’t a break from learning.
Play is how children learn language.

In play, children:
- Feel safe enough to communicate
- Stay engaged and willing to interact
- Hear and use new words in real situations
- Practice turn-taking, sharing ideas, and responding to others
- Begin to build longer phrases and sentences naturally

When a child is relaxed, connected, and interested, their brain is ready to learn. That’s why speech therapy often looks like play on the outside, and connection + communication on the inside. ✨

If you’re ever curious about what your child's Speech-Language Therapist is working on during your child’s sessions, feel free to just ask!

We’re always happy to explain, share, and work together. ☺️

Secure Attachment: The Root of Resilience

From as early as age three, children begin learning how to understand and manage their emotions through the bonds they form with caregivers.
A secure attachment builds the foundation for emotional regulation, confidence, and lifelong resilience.

Every child’s emotional wellbeing begins with us — their caregivers, parents, and teachers.

When we are physically and emotionally present, we give children what they need most: a sense of safety, connection, and belonging 🌱

Too often, we prioritise work, success, and responsibilities — but our children can’t wait. Their hearts and minds are growing now. Let’s slow down, show up, and nurture their emotional world with presence and empathy. 💫

Inspired by the wise words of Erica Komisar, a renowned parenting expert and author 💬 (https://www.facebook.com/share/v/14NB5MjrMpZ/)

Let’s take a moment to reflect on how we invest in supporting our loved ones — by being truly present, both emotionally and physically. 🌱

🌿 Kim Barthel Returns to Kuala Lumpur -A Journey of Healing and Connection 🌿

Recently, we’ve been hearing more stories of school incidents, stories that have left many of us, as parents, teachers, and caregivers, feeling heavy-hearted.💔 These moments remind us that behind every child’s behaviour, there is always a deeper story.

As care-partners, we are part of our children’s ecosystem. Our calm, our patience, and our ability to stay connected are what help children feel safe and seen. 🌱

We’re honoured to welcome Kim Barthel, world-renowned occupational therapist, teacher, and author, whose trauma-sensitive and relationship-based approach has touched the lives of caregivers and professionals across the globe. Kim helps us understand the profound connection between our own regulation and a child’s sense of safety.

Join us to learn and experience practical, embodied strategies for self-care — tools that equip us to stay grounded and resilient, even through life’s toughest moments.💛

Overwhelmed to Confident Through SIGNPOSTS PARENT TRAINING PROGRAM! ✅
Our latest Parent Testimony!
Before joining Signposts training, this parent often felt overwhelmed.
Simple routines felt like mountains to climb, and they wondered if things would ever get easier.
But week by week, they started learning how to respond differently with the help of our SIGNPOSTS TRAINING.
Today, their days flow smoother, their child is more settled, and their family feels stronger together.

“I’ll definitely recommend Signposts to other parents as some just need help understanding how to handle their child.”
