"Using analogies for speech sounds! Sometimes drilling a sound over and over just doesn’t click… until we make it fun. I remember working on the back sounds (/k/ & /g/) with a child.. nothing was sticking, until I tried the ‘gong gong’👴🏼sound. Suddenly, it clicked! Since then, I’ve loved using playful cues like ‘d**g d**g qiang’ 🥁for /d/ or ‘labubu’ for /l/ sound. The key is choosing the right analogy as long as it’s meaningful for the child. That’s when practice feels fun and memorable for everyone."

"My go-to way to relax after work really depends on the day! Sometimes I love heading to a barre class to sweat it out and reset my energy. Other times, I just want to stay home, cozy up, and play my Nintendo Switch — usually Zelda or Mario Party Jamboree. Both give me that perfect balance of movement and downtime!”
