Healing Hearts Mindfulness Retreat was never about perfect poses or curated moments. ❤️ Our ethos will always be about presence, rest, listening inward, and remembering what yoga truly is ! We intend to create a space for connection, not performance.

Join us this February for Dee Hati Grief Yoga, as we explore our theme: ‘Finding Continuity in Change’.

Honoring this month’s themes of renewal and cleansing (Chinese New Year & Ramadhan), our practice will focus on heart-opening and spine-strengthening postures. This helps release the protective weight of grief and strengthens the inner stability needed to navigate emotionally complex traditions and self-reflection.

A minimum donation of RM5 is encouraged - 100% goes to maintain the center. 🙌🏼

A heartfelt thank you to the Ministry of Women, Early Childhood, and Community Wellbeing Development Sarawak (KPWK) for making this Grief Yoga initiative possible.

We had so much fun connecting with each other: entering as strangers, ending as friends 🥰

On our upcoming Mindfulness Retreat 2026 Launchpad this Saturday, we will be hearing about the philosophy of Yoga, after our morning Yoga session. This talk will be delivered by

Maryam is a 500 Hours Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and has dedicated years of her experience, learning and internalising the Yogi code of ethics and lifestyle.

For those who have been practicing Yoga on the mat, whether in your own home or at studio classes, we highly recommend you to join the retreat and expand your Yoga knowledge beyond the physical postures.

There are much wisdom and knowledge to be shared in Yoga. And we look forward to having a deep dive into this topic with you at the retreat!

Join us this January for Dee Hati Grief Yoga as we embrace the new year with our theme: ‘(Re)Starting Again’.

This month, we honor the natural rhythm of change by tapping into inner strength and wisdom. Through gentle yoga and selected mindfulness techniques, we will practice quieting the mind and recentering our thoughts on what truly nourishes us, creating a compassionate foundation for the year ahead.

2025 was the year when things finally made it out of the group chat.

Acroyoga Jam. Fundraising Yoga. Sessions by the beach/park/rescue shelter. Sound healing + movement therapy. Private class. Corporate class. Meditation space.

Some plans fell through, some went better than expected.

Yoga joy is infectious. Nothing brings us more satisfaction than getting you girls to explore the larger aspects of yoga beyond the mat.

From the bottom (+ tops) of our hearts, thank you for showing up again and again.

What I notice throughout my years of personal Yoga practice…

Is that different practitioners gravitate towards certain types of asanas (postures).

Backbends, forward bends, handbalancing, chest/shoulder openers, twists/binds, inversions…

Although I tried my best to balance out my practice, I naturally find myself going back to my ol’ reliable- backbends 😆

But throughout the years, I find newfound joy in deepening my binds, and the challenges that come with perfecting a handbalancing posture.

From a surface level, you can see this as a natural satisfaction towards your athletic progression. Or if you want to look further inwards, your attraction to specific parts/functions of your bodies may reflect the state of your emotional landscape. I’d like to think it’s the latter.

It’s not that deep… or is it?
