IKM Sarawak and JKM Sibu teamed up with SFC to run a ChemisTree for Nature programme, teaching rangers safe chemical handling and donating protective gear. Students also joined in tree planting to promote environmental awareness and conservation.

“From Atom to Awesome” Inspires at Karnival Kimia Malaysia (K2M) Sarawak Zone 2025

The Karnival Kimia Malaysia (K2M) Sarawak Zone 2025, held at YSISS Petra Jaya, carried the inspiring theme “From Atom to Awesome.” The event brought together 470 participants from diverse backgrounds — including students, teachers, lecturers, scientists, and chemists — in a celebration of science, innovation, and collaboration.

Throughout the carnival, participants engaged in a series of inspirational talks, interactive science workshops, and informative exhibitions, all aimed at nurturing interest in chemistry and showcasing its vital role in everyday life.
