Regardless of the type of cancer a person has, it helps to have a multidisciplinary team by their side. Cancer, with its complexities and varied manifestations, necessitates a holistic approach to care.

无论一个人患有哪种癌症，一个多学科团队对其而言均具有重要意义。鉴于癌症的复杂性和多样化表现，需采取整体的治疗方案进行诊疗。

This is where a multidisciplinary team (MDT) — comprising oncologists, surgeons, radiologists and other healthcare specialists — becomes essential. These teams collaboratively diagnose, devise personalised treatment plans and monitor the ongoing treatment of cancer patients, ensuring comprehensive care from diagnosis to recovery.

17 August 2025, CanHOPE Kuching organized its Support Group activity “Look Good, Feel Confidence” Grooming Workshop with event partner & sponsor - Maison Monica Hair & Beauty Academy, specifically for patients, survivors & caregivers.

The activity aims to boost their self confidence by providing personalize guidance on hair-styling and makeup application. They were able to learn the practical tips that can help ease their transition back into normal routine and lifestyle.

Cancer treatment may start with a diagnosis but it does not end there. CanHOPE Kuching, a non-profit cancer counseling and support service provided by Parkway Cancer Centre, Singapore. They stand shoulder to shoulder with its patients and their families in the fight against cancer to help in any ways whether with emotional support, guidance or advice about cancer.
