29 NOV 2025, CanHOPE Kuching hosted its Support Group Activity - “Gingerbread & Shortbread” Cookies Baking Workshop, collaborated with Amy Cake Decorating & Cooking Institute to impart invaluable baking skills to patients, survivors & caregivers.

The workshop also aimed to connect participants with one another so that they can support and empower each other.

During the workshop, the instructor gave a live demonstration before the participants set off to make their own cookies. The workstations were abuzz with activity as the participants worked in their groups to meticulously craft the cookies.

Participants went home happily with their own creation cookies, a certificate of participation and a thoughtful goodie bag that had CanHOPE brochures, Cancer Care handbooks, PCC Cancer pamphlets and PCC 2026 Calendars.

CanHOPE Kuching, a non-profit cancer counseling and support service provided by Parkway Cancer Centre, Singapore. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our patients and their families in the fight against cancer to help in any ways whether with emotional support, guidance or advice about cancer.
