❌ Myth 4: Medications can cause false positives.
It is often believed that certain medications, such as antibiotics, painkillers, or birth control pills, can interfere with pregnancy test results. However, the truth is that most medications do not affect the accuracy of pregnancy tests.
The only exception is fertility treatments that contain hCG, which can cause a temporary false positive. If you are taking fertility medication, it is best to consult your doctor to determine the right testing window.
