A great appreciation to Rotary Club of Kota Famosa for organising a Healthcare Awareness campaign to highlight the importance of eye examination for people with diabetes!

Diabetes can cause vision losses if not treated early. Diabetic retinopathy is caused by damaged blood vessels in the retina due to high sugar level in the blood which will result in swelling at the retina.

Temporary blurred vision may also be caused by the high sugar level in the blood.

Remember to get your eye test regularly if you have diabetes!

Letโ€™s Walk Away from Diabetes (Healthcare Awareness organised by Rotary Club of Kota Famosa) was a successful event!

We managed to screen some early eye conditions to prevent future irreversible vision losses!

Remember to always get a yearly eye examination to prevent vision loss.
