A meaningful community initiative brought together Kelab Media Johor, Eyesmate Optometrist, Lions Club of JB Iskandar 新山依斯干达狮子会, Asia Clinic Group (ACG), Tg. Langsat Port, and Klinik ATS in a shared mission to support the Orang Asli community.

The day began with health screenings, eye examinations, and rehabilitation assessments, gradually filling the community hall with warm conversations and genuine laughter. As the morning progressed, villagers enthusiastically joined the interactive games, transforming the hall into a lively space of joy and connection. The momentum continued into the afternoon with a lucky draw, where families celebrated each win with excitement.

Three years on, this ongoing initiative reflects our collective commitment to stand with the Orang Asli community and to strengthen collaboration across media, healthcare, and community partners.

In less than a year, Regency Specialist Hospital has achieved a significant surgical milestone with 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰-𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, including Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and General Surgery. This rapid achievement reflects both clinical expertise and growing patient trust in advanced surgical care at Regency.

One of these patients is 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲, a 28-year-old field welding engineer from Batam, Indonesia, currently working in Australia.

Andre underwent a robotic-assisted procedure performed by 𝗗𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗺 𝗛𝘂𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗻, 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹, 𝗨𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗜 & 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗻.

“After doing some research with my brother, I reached out to Regency’s Authorised Representative Office in Batam via email. Getting an appointment was easy and the administrative team was very responsive. I am happy with my procedure with Dr Lim and truly satisfied with the services at Regency,” he shared.

Supported by Regency’s Authorised Representative Office, Andre also received assistance with travel and accommodation arrangements, ensuring a seamless experience from consultation to recovery. Just one day after surgery, he is recovering well and preparing for discharge.
