Assalamualaikum and Welcome to Teratak Cherry Muslim Guesthouse! If you are looking for a relaxed, comfortable and family friendly homestay - somewhere you and your family can take a deep breath and unwind or having fun together throwing a barbeque party in the garden - then Teratak Cherry , is the place for you ~ "The Pleasures of Home Away From Home". Teratak Cherry is a corner house located at Bandar Seri Alam, Masai, Johor Bahru. It is about 15 kms from the city centre, and with the EDL-coastal highway it takes only about 15-20 minutes drive there from the city centre. Our accommodation sleeps 7 people comfortably (with maximum of 10 people). It features 3 bedrooms, a spacious sitting area, tv area, dry kitchen with breakfast table, wet kitchen and a garden with a pergola, a garden bench and a barbeque pit. We have a reading corner and play area on the second floor for our little guests to play and feel at home. There is a space for 2 cars parking on the driveway. We work hard to make sure you have a comfortable stay, and are always on hand to help and advice if needed. Bedrooms :
The Raspberry Room - our master bedroom is super spacious with en-suite bathroom, fitted with a king size bed and build in wardrobe and a sofa. The Blackberry Room - has 3 single beds with an en-suite bathroom, with a view of the garden to enjoy from upstairs. The Strawberry Room - is a simple yet tranquil room with queen size bed and a sofa, perhaps suitable for aged parents as it is located on the ground floor. All our rooms are made up with fresh bed linen and finished with a duvet to promote a great night's sleep. Bed linen are professionally washed everytime a guest checks out and fresh sets of bed linen are made up for the next guests. Although rooms are normally made up with duvets, we can supply blankets if you prefer. There are basic bathroom supplies in all 3 bathrooms. Each bedroom is supplied with 2 fresh white bath towels, ie 6 bath towels in total. All bedrooms have individual split unit air conditions. Sitting Area :
Guests have use of the sitting room, a relaxing space for you and your family in which to chat, read, play games or chill out. We have books on the bookshelves which you are welcomed to borrow during your stay. The sitting room is equipped with a flat screen television, ASTRO and a DVD player. Please bring your own dvd. Dry Kitchen :
The dry kitchen which has the view of the garden is available for guests to use. You could peacefully have coffee here while watching your children having fun on the red swing in the garden. A selection from the drink tray on hand are available here as complimentary from us. The kitchen is fully equipped with tableware, cutlery, a built in oven, a microwave, kettle, bread toaster and a fridge. We appreciate if cooking and heavy washing of dishes are handled in the wet kitchen instead of here as we like the dry kitchen to remain dry and clean for all our guests to enjoy. Wet Kitchen :
We provide basic cooking facilities here. Cooker, pots and pans can be found here. Please clean up after use to avoid pests. Amenities:

There is a newly opened Masjid Jamek within walking distance of Teratak Cherry where you can perform 'solat jemaah' with the local qariahs. Local groceries, food outlets, hardware store and laundry are within walking distance. We are 5-8 minutes drive to Seri Alam park, Tesco Seri Alam, McDonalds, Burger King, the Regency Hospital, UiTM, UniKL, Pegasus International School, MRSM, Sekolah Seni and many more.
