KETTLEBELL SWING

The kettlebell swing can help develop:

1-Power endurance in the posterior chain. (e.g. running, kicking, jumping, striking).
2-Cardiorespiratory fitness.
3-Mobility in the hip joint and hamstring flexibility.

TO SQUAT OR NOT – USING A HIP DOMINANT ACTION
There are two ways you can swing while maintaining the neutral spine position vital for safety: using a squatting type action, or a hip dominant action (more akin to a Romanian deadlift).

The two arm swing and one arm swing are very similar; however, with the load transferred to one arm there are a couple of differences.

PS: Its a real test for your forearm which correspond to your grip strenght.

1- A newborn baby girl in Malaysia today is expected to live up to 77 years – over 10 years longer compared to 1970.

2-Malaysian boys, though having shorter life expectancy, are also said to be able to enjoy a longer life span of up to 72 years, as opposed to 61 in 1970

3-“The need for medical assistance, long-term care and services to assist us with daily living becomes very real.

4-“As we live longer, the possibility of requiring some form of care is inevitable. Hence, planning for this is crucial to prepare us for the future,”

5-“While we are becoming an ageing population, we are not necessarily ageing healthily,”

6-40% of Malaysians above the age of 35 have high cholesterol while 35% of them have hypertension.

7-17% of this age group were also found to have diabetes.

8-Ageing population phenomenon is not only about addressing the welfare of senior citizens, but also urging the young to start caring for their health now to enjoy a better quality of life as they age.

9-The obesity rate in Malaysia is one of the highest in Asia as well. So apart from wealth management, there is an equal need to manage one’s health
