🧬 Diet, Leaky Gut & Eczema: A Quick Overview
----------------------------------------------------------
“Did you know your gut and skin are connected? Emerging research suggests that when the gut lining becomes too permeable (“leaky gut”), unwanted molecules can leak into the bloodstream, trigger immune reactions, and worsen inflammation in skin conditions like eczema.
A diet high in sugar, processed foods, and low in fiber may worsen gut barrier function, while fiber-rich foods, prebiotics, and probiotics may support a healthier gut-skin balance.
While it’s not a silver bullet, paying attention to gut health through diet might help reduce flare frequency and severity. Always work with your doctor before trying major dietary changes.”
