We often see players experiencing:

If sleeping during pregnancy feels harder than it should…
it’s not just the bump 🤰🏻

The way you sleep can quietly twist the spine, strain the pelvis, and compress nerves – especially when side-sleeping for months.

Here’s what actually helps 👇

Side sleepers (most pregnant mums):
✅ Pillow between the knees – reduces pelvic torque
✅ Support under the belly – eases ligament tension
✅ Pillow hugging the chest – reduces shoulder strain

If you wake with hip or lower back pain:
It’s often a sign the pelvis is rotating or collapsing overnight, not that you “slept wrong”.

If you wake with neck or upper back tension:
Your pillow may be too high or too soft, your neck should stay in line with your spine, not pushed forward.

Here’s what’s rarely explained:-
During pregnancy, the pelvis can become imbalanced.
When that happens, ligaments tighten unevenly and reduce the space the baby has to move comfortably, even if the pelvis is a "normal" size.

When most patients first come to us, it’s because something feels off - pain, stiffness, tension, or discomfort that just won’t go away. At this stage, we typically initiate an Acute Care Plan, a focused period of care that spans the first few weeks to help alleviate symptoms, restore mobility, and get you back on track.

But the real goal? Not just to feel better temporarily, but to prevent the problem from recurring. That’s where the Next Phase of Care comes in.

Once symptoms improve and your body starts responding, we often recommend moving into a more supportive rhythm, such as a session every two weeks or even once a month. This phase is about prevention, maintenance, and long-term wellness. Think of it like dental check-ups, but for your spine and nervous system.

It’s a question we hear often - and the honest answer is simple: we all do.

👧🏻🧒🏻👦🏻Kids might not have the chronic stress, screen time, or desk jobs that adults do… but their bodies are growing, adapting, and constantly responding to the world around them. More and more teens are walking into our clinic with adult-sized problems in growing bodies – and parents are often the last to know until it gets serious.
