We had a meaningful day at Kelab Golf Negara Subang, conducting glaucoma and diabetic eye screenings to raise awareness and keep the community proactive about eye health.

Glaucoma is the “silent thief of sight” — it often shows no symptoms until it’s too late. ⚠️

Dr Daphne completed her fellowship training in Medical Retina and Ocular Immunology at the renowned Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, Australia and brings with her over a decade of clinical experience.

She specialises in medical retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions, inherited retinal diseases and complex inflammatory eye conditions. She also has extensive experience performing complex cataract surgeries, including those involving co-existing ocular conditions, and manages a wide range of general ophthalmology conditions in both adults and children.

We are pleased to share that Dr Umi Kalthum, Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in Corneal and External Eye Disease as well as Laser Vision Correction, recently presented her insights and experience in managing patients with high astigmatism (cylinder).

Her session, titled “Navigating SMILE in Compound Myopia: Patient Selection, Planning & Pearls,” highlighted the encouraging visual outcomes achieved from our patient database and provided valuable learnings for enhancing clinical outcomes in complex refractive cases.
