Seluruh rakyat Malaysia turut berduka.

Tiada kata yang mampu menggambarkan kesedihan keluarga atas kehilangan ini.
Mendiang bagaikan mekarnya bunga pagi, membawa senyuman di sekelilingnya. Hari ini, keceriaan itu pergi… meninggalkan kekosongan yang sukar diganti.

Kejadian ini terlalu perit untuk diterima.
Tiada siapa sepatutnya menghantar anak ke sekolah, lalu pulang dengan jasadnya.
Sekolah mesti menjadi tempat paling selamat tempat anak-anak membesar dengan tawa, bukan tangisan.

Pemergian mendiang Yap Shing Xuen menyentuh seluruh negara. Semoga kehilangannya menjadi pembuka mata buat semua pihak, bahawa ini bukan masa untuk menuding jari, tetapi masa untuk kita bersama-sama memastikan tiada lagi anak yang pergi dengan cara sebegini.
