🫂 ADHD IN ADULTS

What is Adult ADHD and what are the symptoms?

Adult attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a mental disorder that includes a combination of persistent problems, such as

- Inattention (i.e. difficulty sustaining attention during lectures, reading, or conversations)
- Hyperactivity (i.e. always being “on the go” or feeling active)
- Impulsivity (i.e. blurting out statements at inappropriate times)

Though it's called adult ADHD, some symptoms start in early childhood and continue into adulthood. In some cases, ADHD is not recognized or diagnosed until the person is an adult. Their symptoms can range from mild to severe.
