Dr Khairul Izan Mohd Ghani

Dr Khairul Izan developed an early interest in General Surgery since he first graduated as a medical doctor more than 13 years ago. Due to this, and with his tireless effort, he is currently appointed as a Consultant General Surgeon at Columbia Asia Malaysia Petaling Jaya after completed his training and tenure as a specialist surgeon in UKM Medical Centre for more than 10 years. He has vast experiences in general surgery and patient care after being appointed to serve previously in Kuala Lumpur General Hospital, Putrajaya Hospital , Ampang Hospital and UKM Medical Centre. These experiences gave him a deep appreciation and a strong devotion towards a holistic approach in managing his patient.

He has worked with various cases involving emergency and life-saving surgical procedure as well as elective cases and always wanted for the best outcome for every patient he treats. Aside from being a surgeon, he was also a clinical lecturer, a published author, and a visiting consultant for few institutions around Kuala Lumpur. He actively involved with academic works and researches with the aim to improve the surgical outcome for his patient prior and after surgery. As a contributor to a number of researches, he speaks at wide range of regional and international conferences and events.

His clinic at Columbia Asia Hospital Petaling Jaya runs everyday except Sunday and public holiday

Monday – Friday at 9am-4.30pm Saturday at 9am-12.30pm
