Last Saturday, our Infant CPR Class (February session) at Damansara Specialist Hospital was successfully conducted.

We’re so proud to see our participants actively involved throughout the session — asking thoughtful questions, practicing hands-on techniques, and gaining the confidence to respond during emergencies. 👶

"Tuberculosis (TB) has always been endemic in Malaysia,” shared Dr Rakhee Yadav, our Consultant Paediatrician, during her appearance on Lite FM this morning.

She addressed the recent concerns surrounding the rise in TB cases and helped listeners better understand this disease and what it means for families.

Dr Rakhee also highlighted a few red flags to watch out for when recognising TB:

🚩 Persistent cough lasting more than 2 weeks
🚩 Coughing out blood
🚩 Prolonged fever
🚩 Night sweats
🚩 Close contact with someone diagnosed with TB
🚩 Belong in higher risks groups

She emphasised the importance of early awareness, timely screening, and seeking medical attention promptly — especially to protect children and vulnerable groups.
