We are proud to support the Advance Diploma in Neuroscience Care (Cohort 6) session on “Numbness & Weakness – Early Signs You Should Know” by ILKMM held at Dewan Hasil, Menara HASiL Ipoh.

This meaningful session brought attention to two commonly overlooked yet critical conditions:
- Stroke
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Through this program, participants gained valuable insights into recognizing early symptoms, enabling timely diagnosis and intervention — ultimately improving patient outcomes.

During the event, we also showcased our Natus Nicolet EDX+ NCS / EMG system, powered by the advanced Natus Elite 2 software.

Participants were given the opportunity for hands-on experience, allowing them to better understand how Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is diagnosed using nerve conduction studies (NCS). This practical exposure provided valuable clinical insights, bridging theory with real-world application and enhancing confidence in performing and interpreting neurophysiological tests.

Our elite team from DanMedik was honoured to be part of the MTS-MOH Spirometry Certification Programme (Phase 1 Workshop) held at Hospital Tunku Azizah Kuala Lumpur.

Organised by the Malaysian Thoracic Society and supported by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, this programme plays a vital role in strengthening competency in spirometry testing and interpretation among healthcare professionals.

Over the 2-day workshop, participants were exposed to:

• Fundamental respiratory anatomy & physiology
• Principles and values of spirometry testing
• ATS/ERS guidelines for performing spirometry
• Interpretation of spirometry results
• Hands-on skill stations focusing on technique, quality assurance and PEF

We are proud that our Sibelmed Datospir Aira Spirometer / Sibelmed Datospir Touch Spirometer were used by the trainers as part of the hands-on training, supporting participants in mastering proper spirometry techniques and ensuring accurate, reliable lung function testing.

We are proud to be the exclusive partner for the Clinical Neurophysiology Workshop 2026, successfully held at Auditorium Perdana, Hospital Tunku Azizah Kuala Lumpur.

It was a great privilege and honour to have Dr. Sanjeev Nandedkar, Senior Consultant and Clinical Application Specialist from Natus Medical Inc. as the main speaker, whose expertise and insights greatly enriched the workshop.

With a whooping 180 participants in attendance, the workshop saw an outstanding turnout — a strong testament to the growing interest and importance of clinical neurophysiology in today’s healthcare landscape.

This workshop delivered not just theory, but real clinical impact through live patient demonstrations, allowing participants to directly observe and interpret findings in real-time.

Key highlights included hands-on exposure to:
• Repetitive Nerve Stimulation (RNS)
• Single Fiber EMG (SFEMG)
• Quantitative EMG (QEMG)
• Motor Unit Number Index (MUNIX)

These live sessions provided invaluable practical insights, bridging the gap between textbook knowledge and real-world clinical application.

A major highlight of the workshop was the introduction of AVEMG by Dr. Sanjeev Nandedkar.

AVEMG represents a new approach to EMG, enabling live quantification of both audio and visual EMG signals. By augmenting clinical expertise with objective assessment, AVEMG provides real-time guidance and signal analysis, enhancing diagnostic confidence — all without changing existing workflows or recording techniques.
