Chiropractic Centre, Petaling Jaya Tan Sri Datuk Paduka Saleha Complementary Healthcare Centre was established in 1997 to provide professional Chiropractic, Physiotherapy and Podiatry Care.

What is chiropractic? Chiropractic is a 100% natural approach to maximising health. Chiropractic aims to ensure that the brain and the body are communicating with each other without interference. The nervous system consists of the brain, spinal cord and nerves and is the master control system of the entire body. The brain sends and receives messages to and from the body allowing it to perform all its daily functions. The spine and scull are a protective mechanism designed to shield the body’s most vital organs - the brain and the spinal cord. If the spinal bones, also known as vertebrae, are out of alignment it can create negative communication between the brain and the body and can lead to many forms of dysfunction. Spinal misalignments also known as subluxations (posterior joint dysfunction) may or may not cause pain but can affect the way in which the body functions. Misalignments are usually caused by stresses on the body. The stresses are typically caused by physical, chemical or emotional stress. The primary therapeutic tool used by doctors of chiropractic is a form of spinal manual therapy known as the adjustment. An adjustment is any chiropractic therapeutic procedure that uses controlled force, leverage, direction, amplitude, and velocity directed at specific joints or anatomic regions. Chiropractors commonly use such procedures to influence joint and neurologic function.
