FHDA's short advocacy film "The Penang Bridge" touches on hope and second chances. Thank you to Ali the professional filmmaker who believed in what we do and felt that more must know about FHDA. The volunteers who painstakingly took on this journey with us. We hope the film will touch Ives and give hope to those who think they have lost it.

: FHDA celebrated WAD at Berjaya Hotel on 16Dec 2025. At the same time, we launched the preview of our short advocacy film "The Penang Bridge" featuring real events of real people. The cast comprised volunteers mostly first-time actors and some staff. The directors and producers also have no prior experience. What a night! They strode on the red carpet that evening.

: Soft launch of Heal in Vibes organised by University of Wollongong Malaysia KDU Penang University College headed by Mr Andrew Wilfred, Sr Lecturer of Dept of Mass Communication & Project Director of Heal in Vibes; and Ms Heran Niruba, Head of Dept, School of Communication & Languages; collaborated by Mdm Pakyalakshmi, President of Pertubuhan Pembangunan Wanita, Tamarai One-Stop Skills Centre @ Lrg Tokong, Bagan Luar, Pulau Pinang. The activities included a children's colouring competition, AIDS quiz and FHDA Jumble sale. FHDA also conducted HIV testing

13 Feb: Staff meeting followed by refresher training on SRH by Exco member Dr Kalai at office premises. Role plays were reenacted to reinforce understanding.

: Ms Yeap attended Mesyuarat Pembentangan Projek GTGTZ DTL Tindakan Dan Pencapaian chaired by Timbalan District Officer on 10 December at Komtar. The committee pledged to put in greater effort to reduce incidence of new HIV infection and AIDS deaths in the state.

: 4 Dec 2025 - 5th Penang Refugee Coordination Meeting was held at Komtar chaired by YB Lim Siew Khim and attended by Ms Yeap and Dr Kalai. Updates and future plans were tabled.

: 28 November 2025 - My Choice, My Health: A Youth Workshop on Proactive Living and PrEP was held at Berjaya Hotel.Participants were enlightened on SOGIE, HIV/AIDS myths & truths, taking charge of one's life positively. Lively interaction between participants and facilitators

: 20 Dec 2025 - WAD at Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim, Sungai Petani. FHDA set up a booth which offered a quiz, info and counselling on AIDS and PrEP which attracted many visitors.

The Executive Director, Jasmin Jalil and senior officers of MAC/MAF paid a courtesy call on FHDA. Discussion centred on our disused Ford Transit van, refresher training, rebranding of services for key population, and supplies of oral PrEP and test kits.
