Ibu-ibu mesti susah hati apabila si manja merengek disebabkan ekzema kan?

Haa di sini saya kumpulkan tips untuk ibu-ibu hebat di luar sana yang boleh membantu si manja merasa lebih selesa dan anda juga boleh tersenyum bersama! 😊

1. Gunakan Produk yang Selamat: 🌼 Pilih produk penjagaan kulit yang lembut dan bebas daripada bahan kimia keras. Pastikan ia dirumuskan khas untuk kulit si kecil.

2. Jangan Terlampau Kerap Mandi: 🛁 Kurangkan mandian harian. Mandi terlalu kerap boleh menyebabkan kulit bayi menjadi kering. Mandikan si manja dengan air suam dan sabun yang lembut.

3. Pelembap, Pelembap, Pelembap: 💧 Sapukan pelembap yang lembut pada kulit bayi setiap hari, terutamanya selepas mandi. Ini akan membantu mengekalkan kulit lembap dan sihat.

I wanted to share some crucial information with you about Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD). It's essential to stay informed and take necessary precautions to keep our loved ones safe and healthy. Here are a few key points to remember:

1️⃣ What is HFMD?
HFMD is a highly contagious viral infection that commonly affects young children, although adults can also get infected. It spreads through close contact with infected individuals, contaminated surfaces, or through respiratory droplets.

2️⃣ Recognize the Symptoms:
The most common signs of HFMD include fever, sore throat, reduced appetite, and a rash with blister-like sores on the palms, soles, and mouth. If you or your child experience these symptoms, it's crucial to consult a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and guidance.

3️⃣ Prevention is Key:
To minimize the risk of HFMD, follow these preventive measures:
- Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid close contact with infected individuals, especially during outbreaks.
- Disinfect frequently-touched surfaces and objects regularly.
- Encourage children to practice good hygiene, including covering their mouths and noses when coughing or sneezing.

Recently, we were shocked by the tragedy of a family who lost their child due to heat stroke. We extend our condolences for the loss of their beloved child.

Do not take it lightly if your child complains of a headache after playing in the park. Their face may be red, their hands may feel cold, and they may experience dizziness and nausea. These could be signs that your child is experiencing heat stroke, which can be extremely dangerous to their life.

When exposed to excessive heat, you may experience 'heat exhaustion' or, worse, 'heat stroke'.

Heat stroke is a serious condition resulting from exposure to excessively hot conditions that cause the body to be unable to regulate its temperature. It occurs when the body temperature rises rapidly to over 40°C (degrees Celsius) or more.

Some signs of heat stroke include:

1. Rapid heartbeat and palpitations (normal heartbeat: 60-100/minute)
2. Rapid and shallow breathing (normal respiratory rate: 12-20/minute)
3. Feeling hot and dry
4. Headache, dizziness, and feeling lightheaded
Sudden increase in body temperature to 40°C or higher (normal body temperature: 36.5°C to 37.5°C)
5. Low blood pressure (normal blood pressure: 120-140/60-80 mmHg)
6. Loss of consciousness, fainting or convulsions.


The general public should also be aware of several important preventive measures to avoid heat stroke:

1. Avoid prolonged activity under direct sunlight or in hot conditions.
2. Avoid physical activity when excessively tired, hungry, or thirsty.
3. Ensure adequate hydration by drinking three (3) to four (4) liters of plain water per day.
4. Practice healthy and balanced eating habits, wear loose and lightweight clothing, and use heat protection such as hats or umbrellas.
5. Do not leave anyone in a vehicle parked under direct sunlight.
6. Ensure sufficient ventilation or air conditioning when indoors or in premises.

Remember, prevention is key when it comes to heat stroke. Stay safe and take care of yourself and your loved ones by following these preventive measures. If you or anyone you know experiences any of the signs of heat stroke, seek medical attention immediately.

Multi System Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C) merupakan salah satu komplikasi serius yang boleh berlaku akibat jangkitan COVID-19 di kalangan kanak-kanak di mana terjadinya keradangan pelbagai organ dalaman terutamanya jantung, paru-paru, dan otak.

Walaupun ia jarang berlaku, namun MIS-C ini boleh membawa bahaya dan maut.

Di antara Jun 2020 hingga Disember 2021, 174 kes MIS-C yang dikenal pasti oleh MIS-C Malaysia Study Group.
Majoriti memerlukan rawatan kritikal di Unit Rawatan Rapi Pediatrik (PICU), manakala tujuh kes (4%) telah disahkan meninggal dunia.
57% daripada kes MIS-C terjadi dalam kalangan kanak-kanak berusia 5 hingga 11 tahun.

Dikongsikan simptom MIS-C yang dikaitkan dengan jangkitan COVID-19 dalam kalangan kanak-kanak beberapa minggu selepas dijangkiti.

Perhatikan simptom-simptom ini yang menunjukkan perlunya dirujuk kepada pakar klinikal atau dihantar ke hospital.

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia menggalakkan orang ramai untuk mendapatkan vaksin COVID-19 untuk anak-anak yang berumur 5 hingga 11 tahun dengan segera. Vaksin Pfizer untuk kanak-kanak menggunakan formulasi yang selamat dan dos yang bersesuaian untuk kanak-kanak di lingkungan umur ini.
