WJ had waited for 5 yr to have a family.

She had tried twice IUI in other center before coming to Metroivf 😊

*Embryo transfer: WJ still has 10 Frozen Blastocyst. Next embryo transfer is best done 6 to 18 month after delivery 😄

Received a Happy News 😁. The mother delivered of a healthy baby girl (pic) after waiting for 2 yrs.
Her embryo had PGT-A testing done and was a euploid embryo* 😁

*Euploid embryo: the chromosome number was embryo cells are normal and in pairs & this embryo has higher chance for implantation, less miscarriage & be a healthy baby 😊

SAC & hubby were extremely delighted to have their newborn in their arms after going through the up & down TTC journey.🥰

She have her 1st IVF last yr and managed to obtained only one previous Day 3 embryo for freezing. 😁

Her uterus was then prepared for 3 months by medication* to return it close to its natural state.
When her uterus was ready, FET was performed and 2 wk later her Upt & bhcg were positive🥰. Bravo!! SAC is pregnant with her only day 3 emb🥰

Last wk, SAC & her husband brought their newborn to share their happiness with Metroivf team.🥰

And together we wishes all our patients, staffs and visitors Happy Diwali 🪔🪔🪔🪔

*3 months by medication: this is to normalize the uterus and was done by monthly injection

When can you start a new IVF cycle after your oocyte pick-up**? 😊

YCM, married 11 yr, had tried to have her 2rd child. She had 4 x IVF cycles at another center and decided to do her 5th cycle at Metro.
Her 1st OPU* with us yielded 2 embryo (Day 3) which were frozen. 😀

She wanted more embryos because of her past 4 cycles & her age.
YCM was both mentally & physically healthy & fit and so we started her 2nd cycle 14days after OPU*.
3 embryos were obtained (2x Day 3 & one Day 5) & were all frozen.

Following her FET, her Upt & bhcg were POS! Bravo 🥰

4 week later a pregnancy sac with fetal heart was seen🥰

YCM's husband ( a Caring & Supportive Gentleman) was extremely delightful 🥰
(Bcos the couple still has 4 frozen embryo 😊)

*OPU: Oocyte pick-up
**Doing 2nd IVF cycle after OPU: It's usual to start another IVF cycle 4 to 6 weeks after OPU. It's also depends on woman's physical health & emotional state. If the woman is mentally & physically ready a new IVF cycle can be started earlier, 2 weeks later after OPU as in YCM's.

CLY waited for 6 yr and then came* for her 1st IVF 😀.

Her pregnancy progressed smoothly & she delivered at 37wk gestation🥰

MMD married 8 yr, had tried 2x IUI & 2x IVF with another center. After resting 2 year she decided to continue her TTC journey at Metro 😄

She had her opu and yielded 4 embryos (day 3x2, blastocyst x2) 😁
2 x Day 3 embryo* were transferred 👍

2wk later her Upt & bhcg were POS! Bravo 🥰.
Another 2 wk later 2 pregnancy sacs were seen. MMD has twin pregnancy😁

Her pregnancy progressed smoothly and she delivered 2 healthy boys in her hometown 😁

AM has PCOS* and had tried clomid cycles x2, letrozolre cycles x3, IUI x1 without success
Her gynaecologist told her to do IVF** since hormonal treatment & IUI didn't work💪

She came for 2nd opinion & did her 1st IVF, frozen 10 embryos & then proceed to FET the following month. Bravo!🥰 AM is pregnant on her 1st FET🥰

AM is extremely happy to share her success (see pic)🥰. She delivered a healthy angel last week)🥰

*PCOS: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome : She has hormonal imbalance & plenty of eggs but difficult to mature
**IVF: The 1st line of treatment for PCOS couple seeking pregnancy is hormonal control (Clomid, Letrozole, metformin), lifestyle change or IUI. If unsuccessful then IVF is the next choice. AM had tried all these treatments and finally needs IVF 😍

She came during weekend from Melaka 😁

She said "After my successful IVF, I was warded in Klang for bed rest for one & half months. Then I follow up and delivered in Melaka with Dr Pravin"😁

*Warded for one month: During IVF pregnancy, there's 10% risk for miscarriage. Common treatments includes ward rest & progesterone support . SH was bed rested until bleeding stopped & fetal heart seen😁

KYL, a "never give up" teacher had a "roller coaster" TTC journey for 8 years. She had recurrent failed pregnancy*

After detailed investigation & counselling, she was advised IVF with PGT-A** and anticoagulant therapy.

KYL was successful following her 1st ivf🥰. Bravo! A euploid blastocyst was used during FET 😁

*Recurrent pregnancy loss: This is caused by abnormal fetal chromosomes, uterus abnormalities or thrombotic problems. Investigations done included pelvic scan of uterus, PGT-A of embryo and thrombophilia studies.

**PGT-A: Pre implantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy: Only euploid (Normal chromosomes) blastocyst will be used for transfer. Aneuploidy will not be discarded.

KK came for her 1st IVF in Jan this year 😁 and had 4 embryos frozen.
She request for baby delivery at Jan next year😁

So, we planned her embryo embryo transfer in May '25 using single blastocyst🥰

Her pregnancy is now 6 wk by ultrasound scan ( see pic) and expected delivery will be in Jan '26
