Shame doesn’t start with you.
It starts with a moment — often in childhood — when being your true self was met with rejection, criticism, or silence.
Over time, you stopped asking:
“Did I do something wrong?”
And started believing:
“Maybe I am something wrong.”
That’s the quiet power of shame.
It hides in your thoughts, your body, your relationships — making you feel unworthy, small, or like you have to “perform” to be accepted.
But here’s the truth:
🌱 Shame is learned.
🧠 And what’s learned… can be unlearned.

Anger is often sadness in disguise.
When sadness feels too vulnerable to show up, anger steps in to protect us.

💥 You might lash out, shut down, or feel irritated — but beneath it, there’s often hurt, grief, or deep disappointment.

🌱 In therapy, we gently peel back the layers.
Not to judge the anger — but to understand it.
Because underneath the fire… is a wound that wants to be seen.

What is gaslighting?

It’s a form of emotional manipulation where someone causes you to doubt your own thoughts, feelings, or memories — often making you feel confused, anxious, or even like you’re “going crazy.”

🎯 Common signs of gaslighting:
“You’re too sensitive.”
“That never happened.”
“You’re imagining things.”

Gaslighting can happen in relationships, families, workplaces — anywhere.

But the good news? You can heal. You can rebuild trust in yourself.
