Keloid scar

A keloid scar is a thick raised scar. It can occur wherever you have a skin injury but usually forms on earlobes, shoulders, cheeks or the chest. It is caused by a dysfunction of the wound-healing process. Collagen — a protein found throughout the body is useful to wound healing, but when the body produces too much, keloids can form.
There is different types of treatment for Keloid scars. Please visit your nearby dermatologist for help OR you can consult Dr. Chow too! 💪

Japan is experiencing an early influenza peak in 2025, with 57,424 reported cases in the week ending November 16, more than double previous weeks. The surge is mainly driven by the A(H3N2) subclade K variant, which accounts for 80% of cases and shows seven genetic mutations that allow it to evade immunity.

Symptoms include high fever, cough, and gastrointestinal issues, with vomiting affecting around 30% of children. The National Institute of Infectious Diseases notes that vaccines are 60–70% effective against severe illness, though mild infections remain common. Health officials recommend mask-wearing, handwashing, and staying home when sick, while monitoring alerts in 20 prefectures.

Myocardial infarction/Serangan jantung symptom:
1. Sakit dada biasa dekat kawasan kiri atau tengah dada
2. Rasa sakit itu macam menekan dan berat
3. Susah bernafas dan kadang-kadang rasa jantung berdebar
4. Berpeluh sejuk dan rasa nak pengsan

【卫生部最新通报来了！】📢
最近是不是身边很多人都在咳嗽、流鼻涕？🤧
根据卫生部报告，全国流感病例虽然还算稳定，但⚠️学校和幼儿园的感染群越来越多了！
📊 第39周数据重点：
🔹 全国共通报15个新感染群
🔹 大多数都在教育机构（学校、幼儿园）
🔹 幸好暂时没有死亡病例 🙏
目前主要的流感病毒是甲型流感（H3）还没有发现新的变异株。
虽然情况受控，但卫生部提醒大家——现在不是掉以轻心的时候啊！
💡【卫生部提醒你】：
🧼 记得勤洗手，保持良好卫生习惯
😷 如果感冒、咳嗽、发烧，就在家休息，不要硬撑去上班或上课
💉 儿童、长者、孕妇、慢性病患者这些高风险族群，建议每年打流感疫苗！
🏫 学校方面也要注意：
▪️ 留意学生有没有发烧、咳嗽的症状
▪️ 一旦发现要马上隔离、通知家长
▪️ 校园要有洗手液、消毒用品
▪️ 病例一多，马上通报卫生局
虽然目前情况还OK，但流感季节真的不能掉以轻心。
出门记得戴好口罩 😷，尤其在人多或学校环境里！

流感又来袭了
这几天来的病人几乎都是流感的病人
最近流感病例真的特别多。
很多孩子高烧、咳嗽、伤风，喉咙痛，
爸妈也跟着焦虑不安。
有的孩子甚至因为持续高烧、脱水，
必须入院打点滴。

【流感并不是普通的感冒】
📌传染力极强：
一个孩子带回家，全家常常一起“中招”。
📌症状更凶猛：
高烧可持续 3–5 天，伴随咳嗽、肌肉酸痛、极度疲倦。
📌并发症危险：
尤其是年幼宝宝、老人或有慢性病的孩子，
可能出现肺炎、哮喘加重，甚至心脏问题。

【爸妈可以怎么做？】
✔️接种疫苗
流感疫苗不是“保证不生病”，
但能大幅降低重症和并发症风险。
✔️勤洗手、戴口罩
尤其是上学、去托儿所的孩子。
✔️避免人群密集场所
流感高峰期，少带孩子去商场、游乐场。
✔️留意高烧信号
若孩子高烧超过2天、呼吸急促、抽筋、
嗜睡，一定要尽快就医。

流感不可掉以轻心，
它不是“多喝水、多休息”就能好的普通感冒。
保护好孩子，就是保护整个家庭。
