In today's world healthcare system, compared with the dominant Western medicine, Chinese medicine (TCM) serve as alternative medicine is still in a weak position.
In 2003 during the SARS pandemic, when western medicine could not completely cured SARS patients, the China government turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which saw great success in eradicating the pandemic within 8 months (November 2002 to July 2003). Chinese medicine (TCM) has improved the cure rate and reduce the mortality rate, has been recognized by the international community.
In 2020, in the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19, when there are still no specific anti-viral medicine or vaccine , the timely intervention of Chinese medicine (TCM) in China has shown outstanding efficacy in reducing fever symptoms, controlling disease development, reducing the use of steroids, and reducing complications.
It has played an active role in improving the recovery rate and lowering the mortality rate among Covid-19 patients in China.
This platform is fully initiated by Ren Yi Tang TCM Malaysia, supported by a group of dedicated Malaysian volunteers, who are registered and qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners from Shanghai University of Traditional Medicine Alumni Association Malaysia. During this critical pandemic, we, as a part of the Malaysian Medical Team, we are ready to provide you solutions to Covid-19 with TCM.
