✨ What connects Utthita Trikonasana & Ardha Chandrasana?
Both asanas are built on the same three pillars of awareness: Pelvis, Back Ribs, and Leg Extension.
🔑 Pelvis
- Keep it level—avoid dropping or tilting.
- In Trikonasana, draw the buttock and pelvis forward.
- In Ardha Chandrasana, open and stabilize through the standing leg.
🔑 Back Ribs
- Draw the ribs inward to prevent collapse.
- Broaden the chest while maintaining length in the trunk.
🔑 Leg Extension
- Press actively through the heels, keeping the thighs engaged.
- In Ardha Chandrasana, ground firmly through the standing foot while lifting with strength through the raised leg.
⚖️ Alignment Principle
A steady pelvis, lifted ribs, and energized legs bring both freedom and stability. These three actions aren’t separate—they harmonize like a symphony, creating balance, spaciousness, and lightness in each posture.
By returning your awareness to these points, you deepen not just your Trikonasana and Ardha Chandrasana, but your entire practice—cultivating strength, clarity, and the experience of alignment from the inside out.
