1) Cataract: Clouding of the lens of the eye.
2) Diabetic retinopathy: Damage to blood vessels in the retina; most common.
3) Glaucoma: Damage to the optic nerve.

There are often NO early warning signs.

Visit your nearest Optometrist to get an eye examination including diabetic eye diseases screening today.

Optometrists in Malaysia were certified by Ministry of Health, Malaysia under the regulation of Optical Act 1991. They must publicly displayed a Green-colored Certificate in their practise/optical shop. If you don't see it, ask them.

While chances are excellent that your baby's vision will develop normally, some infants have a higher risk for certain conditions that may affect their sight later in life.

As babies grow and their eyes reach full development, parents are often the first to notice signs that their baby may have special vision needs. Don't hesitate to talk to your Optometrist if you have any concerns.

Are There Symptoms I Should Watch For?
Find the symptom below to learn more about the potential eye problems, what to watch for, and what can be done if/when your baby needs special eye care.
1) Crossed eyes.
2) Drooping eyelid.
3) Milky white covering over the pupil.
4) Pink eyes.
5) Vibrating Eyes.
6) Watery Eyes.
