For many years, we believed that consuming soy as it naturally contains phytoestrogens which might increase the risk of breast cancer. Multiple studies have explored this issue, and the findings often appeared contradictory. However, beyond its well-known benefits for healthy cholesterol and heart health, more recent research has highlighted soyโs protective role in prostate, breast, colorectal and other cancers, particularly among Asian populations such as the Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
