Diabetes Awareness Month Kicks Off in Segamat! 💙 💙

SENA Healthcare Segamat is proud to join hands with Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah Segamat (KKM) and Lions Club of Segamat Jaya for the Johor State-Level World Diabetes Day Celebration 2025, officiated by Dr Hj Mohtar Bin Pungut @ Hj Ahmad, Pengarah Kesihatan Negeri Johor.

Held on 1 November 2025 at Taman Rekreasi Sungai Kapeh, this event marked the start of Diabetes Awareness Month, focusing on this year’s global theme — “Diabetes and the Workplace”, part of the 2024–2026 campaign “Diabetes and Well-being.”

🇲🇾 Did You Know? Malaysia has one of the highest diabetes rates in Asia. According to the National Health and Morbidity Survey (NHMS), 1 in 5 Malaysian adults lives with diabetes — and nearly half are undiagnosed.
