There's no such thing as "Monday blues" here at Queensway Confinement where our lovely yoga instructor Lily takes mummies through an uplifting yoga routine every Monday morning. Apart from strengthening the body and the pelvic floor, practising yoga has the benefit of boosting mummy's overall mood and wellbeing thus keeping postnatal depression at bay. Studies have found that milk production also increases with regular yoga practice as mums are able to achieve a deeper state of calm and relaxation.
