11 October 2025 - NSM Community Nutrition Outreach (COR 10-25) at the Bald and Beautiful 2025 event to create awareness on childhood cancer. We thank Paediatrics Student Interest Group, Universiti Malaya Medical Society for inviting us to promote on healthy eating and active living. Our activities include:

Serikan Deepavali anda dengan keenakan Oat Idli — lembut, berkhasiat, dan enak dinikmati bersama kuah dal yang harum.

Resepi: 6 hidangan (12 Idli)
Bahan-bahan
Untuk Idli:
● 200 g (2 cawan) oat segera, dikisar menjadi serbuk
● 125 g (1 cawan) tepung beras
● 100 ml (½ cawan) yogurt rendah lemak
● 2.5 g (½ sudu kecil) soda penaik
● Garam secukup rasa
● 500 ml (2 cawan) air
Kuah Dal:
● 50 g (½ cawan) kacang dhal rendam semalaman ,15 g (1 sudu besar) bawang putih, dicincang & 15 g (1 sudu besar) serbuk kunyit (Bahan A)
● 2 L (8 cawan) air
● 15 g (1 sudu besar) ghee
● 15 ml (1 sudu besar) minyak masak
● 75 g (5 sudu besar) bawang besar, dihiris
● 3 g (10 helai) daun kari
● 6 g (1 biji) cili hijau, dihiris
● 3 biji buah pelaga
● 5 g (1 inci) kulit kayu manis
● 15 g (1 sudu besar) serbuk ketumbar
● 5 g (1 sudu kecil) serbuk jintan putih
● 5 g (1 sudu kecil) serbuk jintan manis
● 25 g (1 biji) tomato, dipotong baji
● Garam secukup rasa

Cara Penyediaan
Untuk Idli:
1. Campurkan oat segera yang telah dikisar, tepung beras, yogurt, soda penaik, garam dan air dalam mangkuk untuk membuat adunan idli. Biarkan selama 15 minit. (Adunan harus mempunyai kepekatan seperti adunan lempeng.)

2. Didihkan air dalam pengukus. Sapukan sedikit minyak pada acuan idli dan tuang sesenduk adunan ke dalam acuan.

3. Kukus selama 15 minit atau sehingga idli masak. Cucuk dengan pencungkil gigi – jika keluar bersih, idli sudah masak.

4. Setelah agak sejuk, keluarkan idli dari acuan dan hidangkan panas bersama chutney atau kuah dal.

Untuk Kuah Dal:
1. Rebus bahan A dalam periuk stok.

2. Panaskan ghee dan minyak dalam kuali, tumis bawang sehingga perang keemasan. Masukkan daun kari, cili hijau, buah pelaga dan kulit kayu manis. Masak hingga naik bau.

3. Masukkan serbuk ketumbar, jintan putih, jintan manis dan garam. Tumis seketika dan tambahkan hirisan tomato.

4. Tuangkan bahan tumis ke dalam dhal yang direbus dan masak perlahan selama 25 minit atau sehingga mencapai kepekatan yang diingini. Perasakan secukupnya.

5. Hidangkan ½ cawan kuah dal bersama 2 keping idli.
