Our event officially kicked off this morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Negri Sembilan Chinese Maternity Association together with CMH Specialist Hospital CEO, Mr. Henderic Koo. 🌿🐯
Mr. Henderic Koo highlighted the importance of stomach care, sharing alarming data from the Ministry of Health:
📌 1,546 new stomach cancer cases in 2020
📌 75% (1,169 cases) ended in death
📌 12th most common cancer in Malaysia
📌 Higher risk in men & individuals aged 65+
📌 H. pylori infection is a major risk factor
He also emphasised CMH’s role as a community-oriented hospital:
“By bringing this event outdoors and involving children through fun activities, we hope to educate families on healthy eating habits and encourage regular health monitoring. Prevention always begins with awareness.”

邱德隆先生在致辞中强调了胃部健康的重要性，并分享了卫生部值得民众关注的数据 加强健康意识：
📌 2020年新增胃癌病例1,546宗
📌 75%（即1,169宗）最终导致死亡
📌 胃癌为马来西亚第12大常见癌症
📌 男性及65岁以上人士风险更高
📌 幽门螺旋杆菌感染是主要风险因素之一
他同时强调CMH作为社区医院的责任与使命：“通过在户外举办这场活动并加入儿童互动元素，我们希望向家庭普及健康饮食习惯，并鼓励定期健康检查。预防始于意识。”
