For years I thought I was getting omega-3 from olive oil and avocado… turns out that’s mostly omega-6! 😅

I always prioritize food first so I started adding more fatty fish like salmon into my diet and supplement when needed.

My long term health goal is to manage chronic inflammation. I take both Omega-3s (EPA + DHA) & resveratrol. Omega-3s help resolve inflammation and resveratrol works alongside them for added support.

Why cravings can drop but withdrawal still happens….

When caffeine cravings reduce, it often means our day-to-day energy feels more stable. We are no longer relying on coffee to push through fatigue, so the habit naturally fades.

But withdrawal is different. Long-term coffee intake changes how the brain responds to adenosine, the chemical that regulates tiredness. Even if we drink less coffee without effort, those brain receptors still need time to recalibrate. That adjustment can take days or even weeks.

I eat 100–150 g of mixed sweet potatoes almost every day 🍠
Orange for vitamin A, purple for antioxidants, white for fibre and steady energy.

I keep the skin on for extra polyphenols and swap refined carbs for these slow-digesting, nourishing carbs instead.
Simple, balanced, and works for me.
