PROGRAM LAWATAN KEBAJIKAN KE RUMAH PENJAGAAN WOODROSE SENIOR RESIDENCES CARE HOME

SHAH ALAM - 10 APRIL 2026 ( Jumaat ), telah diadakan lawatan kebajikan dan program bertaut kasih bersama warga emas di Rumah Penjagaan Woodrose Senior Residences Care Home Seksyen 11 Shah Alam anjuran Biro Kebajikan PERKEP Shah Alam.

Program ini dihadiri oleh YDH ACP Ramsay Embol, Ketua Polis Daerah Shah Alam bersama YBhg. Puan Peggy Thow Wan Chin, Pengerusi PERKEP Shah Alam. Turut dihadiri juga, Puan Noor Azah bt Mohd Noor, Naib Pengerusi PERKEP Shah Alam serta 35 orang AJK dan Ahli PERKEP Shah Alam yang memeriahkan lagi program hari ini.

Program lawatan ini merupakan salah satu inisiatif tanggungjawab sosial yang bertujuan memberi pendedahan kepada peserta mengenai kehidupan warga emas yang ditempatkan di rumah penjagaan. Selain itu, program ini juga dapat menyemai nilai murni seperti kasih sayang, empati dan keprihatinan terhadap golongan yang memerlukan perhatian dan sokongan masyarakat.

Dalam lawatan ini, PERKEP Shah Alam menyantuni seramai 13 Penghuni Woodrose Senior Residences dengan membuat aktiviti bersama-sama seperti senaman ringan, mencanting batik dan sesi rendaman kaki, urutan mesra bagi sentuhan kasih yang disemai ini sedikit sebanyak mengurangkan rasa emosi dan sunyi bagi setiap warga emas yang disantuni.

Matlamat utama program ini adalah memberi peluang ahli perkep dalam berinteraksi dan bersosial bersama warga emas. Ianya juga mampu merapatkan jurang komunikasi antara golongan muda dan warga emas serta merangsang minda dan fizikal penghuni melalui aktiviti santai ( permainan/senaman ringan).

Penyampaian sumbangan disampaikan oleh Pengerusi PERKEP Shah Alam kepada Pn. Noorul Azwin Binti Abd Kadir selaku Regional Centre Manager bagi pihak residensi Woodrose Care. Program diakhiri dengan jamuan makan dan bersurai pada jam 1.30 petang.

Hari Raya is a time of tradition, togetherness, and meaningful moments across generations 🌙✨

At Woodrose Senior Residences, our residents recently came together to anyam ketupat or weaving ketupat casings.

This beautiful tradition involves carefully folding and weaving young coconut leaves into intricate pouches that are later filled with rice and cooked.

It’s a cherished cultural art passed down through the years, symbolizing patience, unity, and heritage.

Seeing our residents share their skills, stories, and laughter while weaving each ketupat was truly heartwarming.

Wishing everyone a joyful and blessed Hari Raya 🌙💚 May your homes be filled with love, your hearts with gratitude, and your celebrations with meaningful memories.
