With the concept in mind of improving blood flow through an injured area, the use of heat rather than cold is important in the management of chronic (long term) injuries.Chronic knee inflammation and pain, is a common injury which can be frustrating and impact heavily on day to day activities. It can be due to a number of injuries or conditions including an acute injury such as a fall, overuse, problems with knee alignment, or even muscle weakness.
