About Ms.Nava - Founder of Nava's Zen
Ms. Nava Krishnan's story is truly inspiring. From starting her working life at a young age to becoming a senior lecturer, she has accomplished a lot in her career. However, her journey has not been without challenges. Health issues, the loss of loved ones, and personal struggles have all tested her resilience. But through it all, she has found solace in yoga, which has helped her rebuild her life and conquer her challenges.

Ms. Nava's story is a testament to the power of perseverance and determination. She has overcome obstacles and taken control of her life, even when things seemed impossible. As the founder of Nava's Zen, she brings her expertise and qualifications in yoga and wellness to help others find their own path to inner peace and well-being.

“Be the Happy Child - Yoga for Relaxation"
Much has been said about relaxation, mind calmness, and finding inner peace. Yoga, the ancient practice that has impacted lives for centuries, has taken an even stronger presence in the 21st century.

But did you know yoga is not just about poses or asanas for flexibility, toning, or blood circulation? It’s also about relaxation, and it nourishes the body, mind, breath, and soul.

From breathwork (pranayama), which sends oxygen to the mind for calmness, to relaxing poses that help destress, yoga gives the body and mind a chance to simply be.

Among relaxing poses, Happy Child Pose (Ananda Balasana) stands out. It gently opens the hips, stretches the lower back, and releases tension in the groin and inner thighs.

Its grounded, fetal-like position naturally calms the nervous system, encourages deep breathing, and promotes a sense of safety and ease, making it an ideal pause for body, mind, and soul.

Caution: Avoid or modify if you have knee, hip, or lower back injuries.

“When All You Want Is Your Health Back"
When wellness is not well, many things get tested.

Ask those who have fallen in their wellness, they are the best people to share how it feels, both inside and out. Confusion, complications, and constantly wondering where life is heading.

Take it from me, Ms. Nava.
After falling ill repeatedly at 50, going in and out of medical centres, all I asked from God was simple: please help me regain my health and wellness.

That was what led me to yoga, on a doctor’s recommendation. I’m proud that there are doctors who recognise yoga as something natural for the body and mind.

The rest is history.
I obtained my coaching credentials at 52 and my yoga credentials at 58. I started Nava’s Zen at 58, after practising yoga for eight years.

Heading to 62 this year, one lesson stands clear. Keep wellness close to your body and mind.

Otherwise, health gets tested, priorities collapse, and everything else fades into the background.
