POV: slimming and lifting a face is never about doing more. It is about doing the right things in the right places.
A slimmer, more lifted face starts with understanding why the face looks heavier or less defined in the first place. In some patients, the issue is excess bulk from an overactive masseter muscle. In others, it is not “fat” at all, but age-related fat loss, soft tissue descent, and a gradual loss of support that creates heaviness, sagging, and a less defined lower face.
That is why assessment matters.
At The Retreat Clinic, we look at facial structure, muscle activity, proportions, volume loss, and areas of descent before planning treatment. From there, treatment may involve:
• precise marking
• precise placement
• reducing masseter bulk with Botox where indicated
• restoring support through targeted fat rejuvenation and lifting strategies
The goal is not to make the face look hollow, frozen, or overdone. The goal is a face that looks more defined, more supported, and more naturally lifted.
A slimmer face is not always achieved by taking volume away. Sometimes, it comes from restoring what ageing has taken away.
Diagnosis first. Precision always.
