[PROGRAM SUMMARY PHOBIA HOUSE: DREAD LABYRINTH 2025]
Director: Muhammad Akmal Haikal Bin Azaharie
Program: Phobia House: Dread Labyrinth 2025
The Phobia House: Dread Labyrinth 2025 transformed two dedicated tents at Dataran UTM into an intense and immersive horror attraction during FESKO, held from 14th to 23rd
November 2025. Designed to challenge both courage and cognitive skills, this program provided participants with a gripping environment filled with suspense, psychological tension, and interactive problem-solving tasks. Running nightly from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM on weekdays and until 12:00 AM on weekends, the labyrinth attracted consistent interest from UTM students and the public. Participants navigated through tightly structured maze sections, atmospheric effects, and horror-themed puzzles that required teamwork, communication, and quick decision-making under pressure.
A key highlight of the experience was the involvement of the “Boo Crew”, who performed as live characters within the tents. Their dramatic portrayals, unexpected appearances, and
immersive interactions heightened the tension and realism throughout the maze. Across ten days of operation, the Dread Labyrinth drew a total of 582 participants, making it one of the
most popular attractions during FESKO 2025. The program successfully fulfilled its objectives of enhancing social interaction, providing an engaging outlet for stress relief, and raising funds for PSYCHIC. The dedication, creativity, and effective coordination of the committee ensured smooth event operations, efficient crowd control, and consistent attention to safety and cleanliness. As the event concluded, the Phobia House: Dread Labyrinth 2025 left a memorable impact on its visitors, highlighting the strength of teamwork and student leadership within the PSYCHIC.
