🔬🩺 An honour and privilege to be part of the Jawatankuasa Kecil Subkepakaran Maternal Fetal Medicine JPPOBG 2025 - 2027, under the leadership of Dr Roziah (HTAA). The 1st meeting was held on the 10th of March 2025 to interview the KKM candidates applying for the MFM subspecialty fellowship and those already in the programme at the universities.
The committee members are Dato Dr Bavanandan (MFM Society Malaysia), Dr Rafaie (Hospital Umum Sarawak), Dr Buvanes (HTA), Dr Amilia Afzan (HPUPM), Dr Nuryuziliana (Hospital Melaka) and myself as the private sector representative.
It was my first time stepping into HTA, and the hospital is huge! It had a lot of open spaces and places for the patients or relatives to relax while awaiting their appointment.
It was wonderful to see some familiar faces amongst the candidates, as some were my MO trainees during their MFM rotation. Brought back some good and some not so good memories 😅.
10 years ago, I was doing my subspecialty training in the UK. Never had I envisioned that I would leave KKM one day. Well here I am today ☯️
