True story.
As we were walking along the Mana Village, we passed a family walking along just like us. They were then approached by a 'babaji'. The family of 3 said their pranam and and were moving forward when the babaji said give your respect by bowing. The mom was reluctant as its believed that one should bow to a guru or parents. Anything more is a little uncomfortable to some people.
The family said no and moved politely forward to continue their journey.
Out of no where the babaji shouted, you have too much ego!! You should respect a babaji. In all this the child who was with them started crying as it was getting loud. The child was traumatised and worried saying what if the babaji curse us? She continued crying. As all this was going on, we quickly walk away and heard a local saying, this babaji is fake and the day before he conned a family off 500rupees.
We will call the police.
At this point, I realized, even if the family didnt bow to this babaji, wasnt the babaji demanding respect? Isnt that act part of feeding his ego? I mean to him, the family was too proud. But in reality the babaji too was projecting his ego by demanding respect.
( although it turn out he was a fake babaji, the lesson that i got was priceless. One of that tubelight moments🥂)
I never understood what projection of your action was until this happened. What i project outwards is actually within you.
This off course applies to the good and the bad.
Lots of love and light💝
