Zomi Life Point Shelter

An initiative of Life Point Myanmar Ministry, Zomi Life point Shelter aims to end homelessness among the Zomi refugees in Malaysia.

Zomi Life Point Shelter works within Malaysia collaborating and coordinating under the Zomi Association of Malaysia (ZAM). Zomi Life Point Shelter works within Malaysia collaborating and coordinating under the Zomi Association of Malaysia (ZAM) a community base social organization recognized under the United High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) agency, to end homelessness among the Zomi refugees. At our program we work with men and women in need to take them from a state of homelessness who are destitute or homeless due to health issues or violence; and support them until they can support themselves independently. We tasked all their medical appointment and all necessary arrangement for them as they had a communication barrier interacting and relating their stories to the representatives in the offices, hospital, clinics and work with them until they are independent and self-sufficient members of society. We are more than just a bed and a meal - it is our goal to see lives transformed!
