𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗬𝗲𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴, 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴

We recently welcomed the Lunar New Year in the office with lots of color, laughter and great company.

We tossed yee sang together – a tradition amongst the Chinese communities amongst the Malaysian and Singaporean diaspora, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune. We also tried our hand at calligraphy (some of us discovered hidden talents… some, not so much), and created watercolor fans, each with its own unique touch.

Moments like this are always special because they reflect what makes our workplace special – strengthening collaboration that shape the work we deliver across the region.
A big thank you to the team who worked behind the scenes to organize this celebration.

ECRI Asia Pacific recently met with the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (HAI Thailand) to advance ongoing collaboration under the 2025 bilateral agreement.

Dr. Piyawan Limpanyalert, Chief Executive Officer of HAI Thailand, Mr. Eric Woo, Director of ECRI Asia Pacific and team had discussions on strengthening patient safety and advancing joint initiatives.

The meeting included progress updates on the development of the Thailand Top 10 Patient Safety Report, which aims to identify key patient safety priorities across Thailand’s healthcare system.

To improve patient safety, we must take a completely different approach, says ECRI President & CEO Marcus Schabacker, MD, PhD. The Top Ten Health Technology Hazards of 2026 should serve as a call-to-action to healthcare leaders worldwide: design care systems and healthcare technologies around the humans they serve, rooted in safety science and human factors engineering.
