Everyone deserves to have clear information to take charge of their health.💙🧬

In conjunction with Genetic Counsellor Awareness Day 2025, we were honoured to join healthcare professionals in shining a light on the vital role of genetic counselling in patient care and decision-making!

🎤 Senior Genetic Counsellor Ms Nur Tiara Hassan shared practical strategies on risk reduction for hereditary conditions, meanwhile, our Head of Genetic Counselling, Ms Yoon Sook-Yee, joined a panel discussion exploring the ethical considerations of predictive testing.

At Genetix, we remain committed to partnering with healthcare professionals, ensuring they have access to evidence-based genetic insights and comprehensive counselling support, so patients receive clarity every step of the way.

⭐ On 6th November, we officially launched ARiCa, the Asian Genetic Risk Calculator at the Malaysian Breast & Endocrine Surgery Course (MBESC)!

Developed with Asian data, it helps patients and doctors understand genetic risks more accurately and make personalised decisions with confidence 🩵

🧬 By calculating individual risk scores, those likely to carry faulty BRCA genes can be referred to genetic testing and counselling, opening the door to more effective treatment plans!
