Residents of Ondangwa have benefited from a free medical outreach programme organised by Duneseven Medical Care Centre to provide essential health services to community members with limited access to healthcare.

The two-day outreach, held at Ondangwa and supported by GwaShamba Mall, forms part of the nationwide ‘Dr Shapumba Free Medical Services’ initiative.

The Duneseven Medical Centre is delighted to announce that Day One of the Northern Wellness Drive at Gwashamba Mall in Friday was a huge success and saw more than 250 participants. The majority were tested for Blood Pressure, Haemoglobin, HIV, and blood sugar, approximately 50 elderly residents were treated for free. More than 30 abnormal cases were detected and referred for further care. The two-day outreach, under the Dr Shapumba Free Medical Services drive, concludes today, Saturday, as the team continues to provide the community with much-needed health services.
