๐ŸŒˆ Did You Know? ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Children arenโ€™t just โ€œburning energyโ€ when they move โ€” theyโ€™re building their brains and bodies at the same time! Here are some powerful facts about kids and exercise:

โœจ Movement grows the brain
Physical activity increases blood flow to the brain, improving concentration, memory and learning ability. Active kids often perform better academically!

๐Ÿ’ช Strong bodies start early
Running, jumping, climbing and balancing help develop strong muscles, bones and healthy joints โ€” setting the foundation for lifelong health.

๐Ÿง  Exercise boosts confidence
When children master new skills (like hopping, catching or skipping), their self-esteem grows along with their coordination.

โค๏ธ It supports emotional wellbeing
Active play reduces stress, improves mood and helps children regulate their emotions.

๐Ÿคธโ€โ™‚๏ธ Kids need daily movement
Experts recommend at least 60 minutes of physical activity per day for school-aged children โ€” and it doesnโ€™t have to be structured sport! Play counts!

At iGrow Kinderkinetics, we believe children learn best through movement.

๐Ÿ’™ Learn through play. Grow through movement.

Before children learn through books and screens, they learn through movement, touch, play, and experience. Every jump, crawl, and climb helps build the brain.

Baby Gesture Milestones ๐Ÿ‘ถโœจ

Before babies can speak, they communicate through gestures. These small movements are big developmental wins!

Around 9โ€“12 months, many babies start clapping, waving, raising their arms, and even blowing kisses.

By 12โ€“15 months, gestures like high fives and pointing begin to appear โ€” pointing is especially important because it shows growing communication and understanding.

Between 13โ€“18 months, toddlers often start shaking their head โ€œnoโ€ and nodding โ€œyes,โ€ showing they understand meaning and can express choices.

Every baby develops at their own pace, but gestures are a beautiful sign that language and social skills are growing. ๐Ÿ’›
