Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that draws from martial arts, dance arts and healing arts.

It empowers people of all shapes and sizes by connecting the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Nia draws from Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, jazz dance, modern dance, Duncan dance, yoga, Alexander Technique and Teachings of Moshe Feldenkrais. Every class offers a unique combination of 52 moves that correspond with the main areas of the body: the base, the core & the upper extremities. Livia Pack is a fully qualified Nia instructor and has attended White, Green, Blue and Brown Belt Intensive trainings. Her classes are based at the Studio Nia Namibia in Windhoek and are offered at different times throughout the week. Nine years of Nia in Namibia — nine years of movement, connection, healing, and joy. 💛✨
On the 23rs February we honoured this incredible milestone with a vibrant dance session… followed by a sushi + champagne sundowner as the sun dipped behind the horizon. 🍣🥂
A perfect celebration of everything Nia stands for: community, freedom, and joy in motion.

A special shout-out to Livia, who just returned from advanced Nia training in South Africa, deepening her skills and expanding her knowledge. Her passion for growth is inspiring, and she is excited to bring even more depth, creativity, and magic back to Namibia.

✨ Meet Our Nia Instructor: Catharina ✨

We’re so excited to welcome Catharina to the Nia Namibia family.

Having grown up in Namibia 🇳🇦, Catharina returned home after many years in Europe, where she raised her two daughters and built a corporate career across countries, industries, and leadership roles.

Today, she works as an international transformational coach and leadership trainer, guiding people toward deeper self-awareness, clarity, and authentic expression.

And now… she brings that same grounded, intuitive energy into her Nia practice.
For Catharina, “Nia is a joyful, gentle pathway into awareness, grounding, and deep connection — a body, mind, and soul practice.”

She believes it’s no coincidence that the invitation to dance lives in the name of our beautiful country itself: NamibIA 😍
