Today is another to drag you about this PCV matter, COME OUT ooooooo π£π£π£π£π£π£
We are seeing an ALARMING rise in the number of pregnant women presenting for childbirth with low PCV and it is not acceptable. Never, nehi, no way acceptable. Ah ahnnn...why now?
Unless it's a case of sickle cell (even then, it shouldn't be too low), you don't have any business approaching 36 weeks in pregnancy with your PCV less than 30%.
AS HOWWW????
If you don't learn anything from Birthsafe, know this today- if there is any ONE factor that can complicate a childbirth, whether vag or CS birth, it is low PCV.
Are you not seeing the spike in the number of PPH cases lately? Some women escaped with their lives, others unfortunately not.
If you are 30 weeks and above, GET UP RIGHT NOW!
GO AND CHECK YOUR PCV!!
Don't say 'my hospital will sort it out, let me rest'. NO!!
Fight for your life and baby's life- GO AND CHECK THAT PCV TODAY! Don't delay it.
If you see that your number is 30% or less, make sure you are in the program and seated by 7pm on Saturday.
As far as you are an active member of Birth Without Wahala or Pregnancy Safeguarding, that's all you need so you can have the foundational knowledge before we embark on speedbuilding that bl*od level.
You will be given only two weeks to raise that PCV significantly and you MUST do it. You can do it.
Don't play please. There's no duplicate life anywhere.
Share this to anyone you know and set your alarm so you don't forget.
Date: 31st January
Time: 7pm
Venue: Birthsafe Program Centre.
You will go in for childbirth and come out safe and sound. Amen.π
P.S: Check stories for the correct answer to the PCV quiz and see who was the first to get it right.
