TINUBU LAUDS OYEDEPO AT 71
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, on the occasion of his 71st birthday.
In a message of felicitation, Tinubu praised Oyedepo’s lifelong dedication to faith, education, and philanthropy, noting that his influence transcends the pulpit. “Bishop Oyedepo’s vision has raised men and women of integrity, impacted global Christianity, and shaped society through education, enterprise, and moral values,” the President said.
Born in 1954, Bishop Oyedepo has become one of Africa’s most influential clerics. Beyond his ministry, he established Covenant University and Landmark University, raising a new generation of leaders through academic excellence. His church, popularly known as Winners’ Chapel, is one of the largest Christian congregations on the continent, with branches across more than 60 countries.
Tinubu further prayed for continued health and wisdom for the Bishop, urging Nigerians to emulate his discipline, resilience, and commitment to nation-building.
For millions of faithful, Oyedepo remains a symbol of spiritual leadership and visionary excellence — a man whose message of faith and prosperity has shaped both individual lives and national conversations.
