Do you know that during dialysis, blood is removed from the body through the red tube, passed through the dialysis machine, and then reintroduced into the blue tube.
This process is repeated for four hours while the patient remains immobile in bed.

Today is world kidney day, I am joining everyone around the world to celebrate and also to reflect on the things that we should do better in other to preserve, protect and care for our kidneys.
